Ethel Margaret Burnham

• 1899, July 11: Ethel Margaret Burnham was born to Alfred Bismark Burnham and Mabel Althea Messinger, in the town of Gig Harbor, Washington. Gig Harbor had been founded by her grandfather, Dr. A. M. Burnham.
• 1917: Graduated from Bremerton High School.
• 1920, June 27: Married John Whittier Greig, a radio engineer.
• 1929: Went via Santa Monica to New Jersey, where John worked at Bell Laboratories.
• 1930, March 14: Marcella June Greig was born to Margaret and John, in New Jersey.
• 1932: Margaret purchased 600 acres of land just south of Agate passage on Bainbridge Island.
• ???? John died of a heart attack.
• ???? Margaret married Kenneth Lancaster Mannen, a postmaster.
• 1969?: Margaret sold her house at Battle Point and moved into an apartment, still on Bainbridge Island.
• 1996, November 24: Margaret died in Swedish Hospital, Seattle, Washington.
