This was somewhat experimental to see if an old Cambron mirror lens would work. It does. The lens is amazingly lightweight and compact. It isn't particularly *good* but it will get you a LOT closer to your subject and it is easy to use. Because it is so lightweight, one should use it at least on a monopod to add "mass" to the system and reduce mirror vibrations.
Note: The Nikon-D200 has a slick feature to delay shutter by 0.4 seconds after mirror lock-up to eliminate mirror slap vibrations. I didn't know it when I made these photos or they might have been better than they appear here. This feature must be turned on in the menus.
