View north overlooking the
chapel and The Village. Compare this to a photo in the Doug Kohlhepp
Collection [CLICK] which shows the same building, but
it is then known as The Valley Club. Recognizable landmarks include
the incinerator building at the far left, partially set back into
the hill -- it is found in Doug's 1945 photo and again in 1977.
Directly above the right (north) steeple, is a smaller white building
with a steeple, probably also a church, and behind it is apparently
the Flag Headquarters that appears in several photographs in this
and other collections.
