WHERE.  The GORDON name derives from a farm, Odegaarden, north of Moelv and 2 kilometers southeast from the Brottum train station on a hillside facing southwest above Lake Mjosa.  (two a's written in Norwegian is an a with a little "o" over it; pronounced long o, or in other words, Gordon, and means "garden" or farm).
