The passive reflectors are 4.4 miles from the camera. A microwave signal is beamed to the reflector on the left, it bounces it a short distance to the reflector on the right, which then beams the signal through a narrow pass all the way to another reflector on the east side of Bear Lake just north of Laketown. It is angled downward to reflect the signal somewhere around the south end of Bear Lake and at ground or lake-level.
